No, although purchasing power in China is increasing, the cost of living in China is still affordable compared to most developed countries, Linyi is a small city and the cost of living in Linyi is much cheaper than large cities in China such as Beijing and Shanghai. Once you arrive at the school you won’t have to spend further money for accommodation and food you only have to pay 3500 yuan per month to the school and we will provide your Kung Fu training, accommodation and 3 meals per day, However, if you want to rent an accommodation outside of the school the monthly rent for a 85 m2 furnished accommodation in a nice area cost around 2000 yuan. Eating outside is also cheap lunch (with drink) in the business district will you a mere 24 yuan, You can buy fruits and vegetables from nearby firms, grocers or even shops on sidewalks and pay about $2 for several day worth.

I don't speak Chinese, can I Learn kung Fu? In our school we provide translators to our international students to make learning more effective and easier, today's technology makes life and communication much easier than before so you can communicate with our master using mobile applications such as Wechat or Google translator which have direct translation from your native language to Chinese language so you can ask questions to the masters directly by talking to the translator or using mobile applications, however learning Kung Fu depends mostly on watching our masters, our masters they have an extensive experience in teaching international students, in addition some of our students know basic English so they can provide help as well.

Do you provide western toilets and western food? Yes, our school has western-style toilets and bathrooms. We also provide western food for international students. How do I pay my tuition fee? you have to pay 10% of the fee when filling application and you can pay the rest upon your arrival in China, we offer different means of payment such as Credit card, Alipay, Wechat, and bank transfers. So you can pay your tuition fee hassle free.

What is the minimum and maximum number of students in each program? Usually our programs have a minimum of 2 students and 15 students maximum so there are no overcrowded classes in our school. What type of visa do I need? To enter china you will need to have a valid passport and visa, students who enrolled for short term training programs up to one year are required to have an F type visa, while students who applied for long term training programs are required to have X type visa, those types of visas can be obtained from the PRC embassy in your country, Our school will help you to get the Visa as soon as possible by providing an admission letter and a foreign physical examination form.

want to become a Master/Instructor! Can you help me? Becoming a Kung Fu Master require more efforts and a sustained commitment, however our Masters (Master Du, Master Ding) and vice president of the school Master Duan, can certify you as a Kung Fu Master. Our Masters allow high level students to practice their Kung Fu teaching skills by teaching beginners, so this will help students who want to become a Kung Fu Masters to practice and refine their teaching skills.

Can you help me find a part time job? No, our school offer full time Kung Fu training, students get a few hours of free time after each training day so it is recommended to use your free time for sleeping, relaxing, playing, reading a book or any other activities.

Note; according to Chinese law international students who are studying in China are forbidden to work, you can be employed only if you get a business visa.

Do I have to pay for Internet access and TV? No, each room in the dormitory has a WiFi connection and TV, so students can access the internet and watch television anytime, free of charge.

How is the weather of Linyi? Linyi city has a monsoon climate with hot, humid summers and cold, dry winters, The school dormitory and training rooms are equipped with heating and air conditioning systems to make your stay and learning experiences in the school more comfortable.

How I do get to Linyi City? Linyi is easy to get to by air with multiple flights coming from Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou daily, Linyi city is also well connected by train with daily services coming from Beijing, Jinan, and Qingdao, You will pay approximately 140 yuan for a seat on a slow train or 200 yuan for a bunk bed. Master Du and other school staff will pick you up from the airport or train station to give you a welcome dinner and then take you to your accommodation.

How and when do I have to apply for residence permit? the next day after your arrival in Linyi city Master Du will take you to near local police station to register and get your residence permit.
